And then the day comes when we wake up to the fact that there is no Santa.
And while it's sad, the realization is that the toys will keep coming
As long as Mom & Dad are there
And as we keep growing
The joy arrives in knowing that we can each be Santa
And if we are all Santa, Santa can really deliver toys to every child on one miraculous evening.
The same goes for the Easter Bunny
The six foot rabbit was always a bit of a stretch but then the day comes when
we're the ones hiding the eggs
Stuffing a basket with green grass, colored eggs, a chocolate bunny and maybe another surprise
And that big bunny arrives at each child's house where Easter is celebrated
on one magical night.
And what if we apply this to the mythical figures that seem to stay with many of us
even in adulthood?
There is no Santa? We are Santa!
No Easter bunny? We are the Easter Bunny...
No devil?
Sometimes we each play the devil
And
No God?
We are God
And if God is love the answer is
Easy
If everyone practiced love and understanding,
Compassion,
There would be no devil
No room for the devil
It's in our collectivity that God is found
A collectivity that looks to seek love, compassion and understanding towards fellow humans
And a world that needs our care
And love
We are all in this together
From innocence to corruption
From ignorance to knowing
From a perfect red apple
To one bite taken
Peace
